Boots & Spurs
The Boots & Spurs sweater is knit from the top down, in the round, seamlessly. The contiguous shaping is great for achieving a comfortable fit at the shoulders before growing into its boxy shape that is almost universally flattering. The smooth rhythm of the endless knit stitches can become meditative, soothing your tensions and quieting your anxieties, and the miles of Stockinette make this a great sweater to show off a complex colorway (be sure to alternate skeins to prevent pooling), and make for a great social knitting project.
This pattern, along with ten more Texas-inspired designs, can be found in issue ten of Nomadic Knits, which is available now.
