To fit (approx.): preemie (baby, toddler, child, teen) [adult small, adult medium, adult large, adult XL] with 0 - 2”/ 0 - 5cm of negative ease.
Finished circumference: 11 (12.5, 13.75, 15, 16.5) [18, 19.25, 20.5, 22]” / 27.5 (31, 34.5, 38, 41.5) [44.5, 48, 51.5, 55]cm.
Finished height: 5.5 (5.5, 6, 6.5, 7) [7, 7.5, 7.5, 8]" / 14 (14, 15, 16.5, 17.5) [17.5, 19, 19, 20]cm.
Needles: US 3/ 3.25mm, or size to obtain gauge in Stockinette stitch and Ghost Stories stitch pattern (you may need a larger needle for Fair Isle if you tend to knit tightly), in 16”/ 40cm - 22”/ 55cm (depending on hat size) circular and in DPNs; and US 1.5/ 2.5mm, or 2 - 3 US sizes / 0.75mm smaller than gauge needle, in 16”/ 40cm - 22”/ 55cm (depending on hat size) circular.
Gauge: 32 sts and 38 rnds = 4”/ 10cm over Stockinette stitch and Fair Isle pattern.
